Cantor Jonas is a Concierge Cantor serving congregations and Jewish communities in New England. Cantor Jonas’ background in Jewish Education and her personal connection to the synagogue environment has helped her to be keenly aware of the growth and development of the synagogue service and the role that music plays in that process. Cantor Jonas has served congregations as interim Cantor and clergy within congregations needing coverage for clergy on Sabbatical, parental leave, sick leave, or vacation.
Cantor Jonas is comfortable leading congregations affiliated with Reform, Conservative and Independent movements.
Cantor Jonas’ compassionate outreach reaches families, couples and individuals in need of life cycle officiating; baby naming, b’Mitzvah tutoring and service officiating, weddings, funerals, unveilings, minyanim, and hospice end of life singing.
